I have used it for years with no problems, but I change it every 2-3 years.
Does the Fan on the driveshaft pull air over the pump from the rear to cool?
No, it blows air over the hydro cooling fins from front to back.
Is the fan mounted with the locking ring facing the pump or the engine?
I forget.
