-10? wussy!!! Jk jk! My 1650 starts at -30 it's only cold when it's -30 somethin and got a 30 or 40k wind.lol I would love for it to be only -10. But my cub doesn't care it still works whatever the temperature. On a more relevant note, to get my 1650 ready for winter, I put in new rod, piston, rings, lapped the valves, and a gasket set. I found a set of 26-10.5-12 quad tires, brand new. 60 pounds of washer antifreeze in each tire, and 44 pounds of iron on the back, plus me. I bought a 35w lamp at Canadian tire, and mounted it under the seat, on the back of the fender pan. I installed a switch on the dash and a 4A fuse. That way I can see to back up, and can turn the light on when I don't need it. Then I drug the snowthrower out of my big storage shed, shot some paint on the gravel blasted chute, and straightened out the auger, and some dents from gravel in the thrower body. Then I greased the drivshaft, tensioned the chain, and shot some blower lube all over the business end of the snowthrower. I'm having camera problems so pics might be a while.
