I have a hydro fluid leak the rear of my 1450. I removed the fenders, gave the area a thorough cleaning and it appears the leak is coming from the recess on the lower right front pf the rear end where the "wet brakes" actuator enters the rear end case. There is no sign of fluid leak above that recess but the fluid is obvious in the recess. That would eliminate the hydro gasket between the hydro tranny and the rear end, Right?
I'm presuming it is a bum O-ring, #4 on the attached wet brakes schematic. Anyone have experience replace this O-ring? Is there a step-by-step primer available for performing this task?
