Jay - speedy recovery man, sorry to hear about your injury!

My close call was last summer - I was tilling an elderly neighbor's garden patch (tightly fenced in to keep deer out) with his Troy-Bilt Horse . . . I put it into reverse and it wouldn't come out of gear. I was just barely able to scramble up the fence as the tines were starting to grab my pants leg.

I've owned that exact same kind of tiller for 20 years and know even gear you know well will reach out and bite ya. So now that I've been properly humbled, I'll NEVER use a piece of unfamiliar equipment again without checking out ALL of it's functions first!
