Pulled the gas tank off to start planning my hydraulic upgrades. There may be room to add the other valve, but there’s not enough room for the levers to actuate the valve. The levers I had in mind would be a rod inside a tube, inside another tube. There’s only about 1/16” clearance between the existing lever and the ignition switch and the fwd/rev linkage.

There is room for the new valve inside the frame under the tunnel cover. The levers for the valve will be in front of the seat and they’ll come through the fenders where the shifter block-off plate is. That way, there will be no visible modifications to the sheet metal. The only holes that will be added are 2 or 3 to attach a valve mounting plate. Those holes will be hidden by the tunnel cover.
