Still looking to find others with a 0066 machine code to see where their serial number/build date lies. I'm thinking the 0065 numbers were first, followed by the 0066 machines and finally the 0660 machines.............or something else? I've started a spreadsheet to log the different machines I come across to see if my presumption holds. That's why I'm asking for info from other 1450 owners.
My 1450 is an 0660, made in July 1977. At one point they changed from 3/4” to 1” front spindles, cast iron to cast aluminum grill housings, and maybe one or two other things I’m forgetting. Not sure if that would be enough of a change to have a different code. Maybe the ones with front hydraulics had a different code?

Also, you may be better off starting a new thread rather than derailing Matt’s any further.
