A couple of years ago, P. Ballard offered a complete late M-18 Kohler for free.
long story short,
I drove from Near Toledo OH. to south of Joliet IN.
and slid it out of his truck into mine.
And he would not take a penny.
Great guy.
After checking it out, the motor is in very nice shape.
It is oiled down, covered and sitting on a pallet awaiting my next project.
He didn't know me other than from my postings on OCC.
So if I can help someone with a problem, or give a laugh,
I'm paying him back.
( ok, so I get another virgin added to my list awaiting me on Venus also)

Yeah sometimes life gets hectic and you forget to thank the people that go out of their way to help ya or they "in your case" won't let ya give them anything. Nice community we have here. I for one will not take it for granted
