The basket/pulley is the same.

Not all the wide frames had the brake style PTO. The brake style PTO requires a different center button on the PTO clutch and has a different casting. So it would require some mods to interchange them.

The non-brake PTOs are interchangeable between NF and WF tractors. One spring or two doesn't matter functionally, the double spring just gives you more clutch pressure. The manual even says you can add the second spring to the NF clutches.

You can take a brake style PTO clutch and replace the center button and use it on a non-brake tractor.

You can put a non-brake PTO on a brake equipped tractor by either eliminating the brake pad or by milling three grooves in the PTO casting and changing the center button to accommodate the brake pad engagement.
