Not to talk down to you,
but throwing parts @ something is not a diagnostic procedure.
But we all have to learn sometime, you did, and was kind enough to share with others here so they learned also.
And it is good to have spare parts that are known to be good.

You will be surprised @ the chit you will get out of the tank.
Trust me, the blow back you did on the tank is only a temp fix.
Guaranteed it will plug up again the farthest from the workshop possible Ha,LOL
