I was comparing the picture of the blade assembly provided by the OP to the two parts diagrams shown in this thread. In assuming the parts diagram are correct, it appears the blade assembly is incorrectly assembled.
It looks like the entire long bar section behind is attached to the blade and bracket upside down.
I hope this saves someone with a BFH from getting into a pissing match with the blade when he installs it on the tractor!
