Nope, these are the real deal. We have to translate and explain what menu items are for these guys. Except the ones from upstate New York, they just blend in REALLY well.
Had a Canadian and a guy from Connecticut with us for a while. We figured 10 inches of snow they would know to stay home---WRONG. Had to explain to them. Got a guy from Minnesota, real deal--didn't hardly wear a jacket all winter. Gave him advanced warning of our winter holidays. But he gave me the weirdest look when I was talking about eating Okra, even had to spell it for him. It was on his bucket list to ride out a hurricane, guess he got that one checked off twice this year!
