Congrats on the 1864! Don’t blow a head gasket! Advance the throttle to wide open when you shut it off hot or it will backfire!
The pic you posted of the lift arm above the floor board is for the blade.
Your snowblower s/b a 451. A manual can be found online. It attaches under the floor board to lift the blower. The combo unit X-Treme sells is what you need if you don’t have a lift arm for the blower.
You mentioned a jerky hydro. Follow Sam’s advice on changing fluid and filter.
