Tim, I don't think anyone has asked what mods, beyond the hydraulic lift-which was stated that no change is likely to be done, does your friend want you to do on this? I prefer auto relief valves over the manual ones. The bolt debate isn't over yet......I like hex heads to replace the Phillips heads in the foot rests. Ag tires or turfs? Since it has the manual lift, it is probably closer to the end of the production run, Jonathan mentioned a hydraulic lift and I know that it was stated that he wanted it like his dad had it, with manual, but that may be a topic for you to discuss with your friend that it would be a really wise option since none of us are getting any younger. Also, do you plan to change out the PTO to a non-safety (pre-74) one? It has a work light on the fender, is that going to be a replaced item or a removed item?

I'm not so concerned about you answering these questions, nor am I trying to badger you with a bunch of questions. I was just curious how others are changing around their 169's, since I have two that have not been restored yet or gone through and I am looking at making some of these same changes to mine (except both have hydraulic lifts).
