Oak, Toss 'em into a jug of vinegar for a day or so, then give them the wire wheel treatment and they will look like new again.\I store them in a peanut butter jar with a little WW-40 to slosh them around in every so often.

They keep just fine 'til you are ready to pick one out and use it.

I keep 2 containers, one for IH bolts and one for the w/p bolts.

These are one of the 1st things I notice on a so called "restored" cub that's on display, that and how much "free play" or lack of it is in the steering assy, with the owners permission of course!!

Saw a 169 at Portland last week, "restored"
the front axle pin was about to fall out and the owner was in the process of switching the seat out for one that had arm rests commenting that they were worth $125 alone and then wanted to play the "whattle-ya-give-me for it" game.
