Default 1650 vibrates at low idle

Hello all,

I picked up my first 1650 with the intent to attach my #2 tiller to it.

It has a few issues, transmission fluid leak, fuel line leak, bad front tire, but my biggest concern is the very noticeable (almost tooth chipping) vibration at low idle. I understood that this model had rubber mounts vs direct block to engine mounting plate connection. I assumed this would dampen the vibration some. (Previous owner has rebuilt the motor twice in over 10 yrs. Second time, he got sidetracked during an oil change and did not tighten the drain bolt. It vibrated loose while mowing.) My 1811 and 782 idles really smooth compared to this one. I understand the difference between single vs twin cylinders. Even at full throttle it has a vibration, not as severe as at low idle but noticeably more that the twin cylinder tractors.

Oh, I know, no pics = it never happened. I will get a tire on it and pull it out of the trailer later in the week.

Anyway, all suggestions and recommendations are appreciated.

Regards,

OKcubfan
