I personally have seen 3 or 4 crack here. Frame flexes too much, and it's a weak spot. I've not seen any other SGT crack here, just the 982. Not sure if something was changed, or having the power steering bolted on helps stiffen it up. Just know I've seen it, and it's something to watch for.

You won't find a service bullion on it anymore than you will find a SB on the need for rear end braces. It's just something that has been discovered, like the frame flex that breaks the hydro front casting, thus the need for rear end braces.
