If you ever have the chance to get one, do it. The seed plates are MUCH cheaper and easier to get than those of a Brinly/Cole planter. Plus, being a double disk opener, they are just an overall better planter. I'm glad I finally found one too! Only took a couple years of looking/waiting for a good deal! I never had any issue finding a whole planter, but didn't want to spend $1000 or more to get one unit. Then there was the whole, make a bunch and sell them factor.... but that takes time and money too, so I just waited until I could find just 1 (or in this case 2) unit's for sale. Guy didn't even have them for sale, just offered them to me when he saw I was looking for one.
