I’m getting ready to restore a very leaky original #55517 for the first time. I'm trying to get my gaskets and seals together and I can’t find any info on the reduction drive housing gasket 376 216 R1. Is this gasket something that would normally be changed out in a rebuild?
So far I’m changing out the axle seals, axle bushings, input shaft seal, shifter and back plate gaskets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated .
