I never cared too much about dealing with yellow jackets. Would sometimes get stung when killing the nests, but never more than a slight bump and itch. Two years ago, I was stung by one yellow jacket, no big deal right? Within two minutes I passed out. Wife called ambulance. Paramedics there when I regained conciseness. Developed a funky heart beat. Now I am much more careful, carry a epi pen when I remember and call the pest control exterminator.
