I don't have enough room or time to separate by length at the moment. It's still a work in progress. I spend more time looking for the wrench that was in my hand 5 seconds ago than a specific length bolt.
Next time I stock up at TSC I will be using more bags so I don't have to do the sorting at home.
BTW the self service bin came from the hardware store in Manassas my Mom used to work at. I would venture a guess, it was from the 50's.

I think it was used for plumbing fittings. J.E. Rice was founded in 1937 and is still in business on the 3rd generation.
