I have no idea the type of grass it is, it's been here all my life. It was mostly pasture at one time, then when we got rid of the cattle and I started mowing it, so it's the "wild" variety...
It looks WAY better in pictures than in person. There's a wide range of clover, alfalfa, crabgrass, and some other broadleaf. It's green, that's all I know. If the yard wasn't so big, I'd like to treat it and get rid of the undesirables, but that ain't happening, would cost a small fortune.
