The 982 got a Onan 19.9hp gas engine, you can find a 15hp Kubota diesel engine in a 782D, a 882 or a 1572 like yours, the 17hp Kubota diesel is what CC may have used in a 982 if they have done a red diesel version of the 1772 so if you paint your 1572 red, stick 882 on the side to make it a credible mod.
