Tell us more about what you want/need to do. The 3pt and rear PTO are high dollar options, but most folks don't use them. Check the plastic real good on the 2284, that series is prone to having broken hoods, grills, and side panels. I just picked up one of those this winter but haven't had time to get it in the shop yet. Sam has posted tons of info on here about the "cyclops" series as folks refer to the 2284 and its kin. Search those as well as 18 and 2072 models. Might also want to search Haban 60" mowing decks, and Magnum engines. Lots of info here on all of those topics.
