I have to say, on any hydro I have ever owned I never used the brake pedal unless it was to set the brake on a trailer or ramps. I just use the hydro lever for my stop and go work. Currently on my 1250, even after my adjustments, if I have the lever way up in the forward position, it will not come all the way back to neutral position, it is a couple inches up from that, but it doesn't bother me, because as I said, I just move the lever to make me stop and then go in reverse or forward.

I hear what your saying. But I figure while I have the pan off lets see if I can make it right. I did see the trunion has some ware but I have no creep and seems to stay at what ever speed I set it at. I guess when the fender is off I can get a better idea. As much as I would like a full nut and bolt resto I am not ready for that. This is in pretty good shape and I only have this one so some cleaning up and fix all the little mechanical things is my priority. I want to get the steering all tightened up and make sure the hydro is all working the correct way. I do plan to plow with it during snowy season so want it mechanically sound at this point. It is kinda hard for me since this is my first cub but I printed out the service manual last night so that should help.
