Default Hi from Michigan

Hi I'm new to the forum and thought I would post my Cub Cadet story. When I was a kid my friends family had a cub-I think a 124. He and I did some lawn mowing jobs and the cub was the nicest mower I had ever used. Fast forward many years and I bought a Cub 2150. Boy was I unhappy when I found out it was made by MTD! But it has served me well and it has 655 hours on it. Last year I bought a 1450($325) in rough shape and restored it. I was happy with the results, but the engine vibration was so bad it was comical. I found that the engine mounts need the softer rubber - dont use the hard shock absorber bushings - I used the OE bushings and most of the vibration is gone. I just got another Cub a 125 that is rough, but complete. $80 for this one. It will be a project for this summer. Tom
