Anyone else's IH built 982 have a trans. dipstick?
My 982 is an IH built unit with cast iron rear end. I was very surprised to find a dipstick when I pulled the fenders off. You would have to take the small cover just in front of the seat (not the tunnel cover) off to check it, but the tube and handle of the dipstick are painted red. I cant find anything about it in my parts book or online parts books.
