If it came to you like that, with the original pulleys in a box, i would be concerned there is a problem with them. Maybe the pulley was loose because the bore is wore out, and they put the basket pulley on as a cheap fix. Only way to find out is to swap em....put some shoes on first!

I didn't see your response Bill. It came to me this way, but the 2 pulleys were in my spare parts. I paid 60.00 along time ago for a complete K161 that was stuck. But it had all the oil bath carb, those pulleys and just a bunch of good parts. I have also rebuilt that carb and repainted it. I guess now would be a good time to sell it to recoup my $$$.

But as soon as I do, I will need one!

Also, now would be a good time to fix those holes in the Grill Surround? I will have it off, so might as well.
