I just tried to find out how it comes apart on the Cub parts site and they don't even show the choke cable. It looks like you'll need to take the gas tank out to get at the back side of the dash. Honestly if it was me I'd go to the auto parts store, pick up a universal choke cable and figure out a way to hook it up.
