Hey, I know your at a loss here.... but you could have just installed a pressure gauge and checked it. Disassembly wasn't necessary at this point. If you had read the service manual like we suggested, you would have known that.
Well... order some gaskets and put it all back together. Then, hook up a pressure gauge. You have to be missing something simple, or someone removed the pressure regulator valve out of the pump housing. Nothing in there is broken. Should work.
That other rear end won't work at all in your 1450. Sam talked about the brake issue which is very true, but it isn't a ported pump and your old one is. No go.
