Thanks everyone... I knew I had to pull the tractor in half, but never thought further than that.. Learned today about the drive shaft needing to be shorter so I might try to find one with new bearings and clutch on the other end. Sounds like it's a good time to go ahead and prepare for replacing a few things since I'll have it in half. I've saved this project for this winter so I would have time... We really don't get any snow here worth plowing. Ha!
