This is my outfit from last year.
Mine is not snow ready yet this season but getting there. After last year being my first winter with cubs, this year I know a little better how to prepare and what is needed besides chains and a battery tender.
First off, this season traction will be more than 26# weights and 4 link chains. Got these Carlise and going to fill them with washer fluid once the rims dry and add even more weight to them.
I'm also in the middle of a complete overhaul of my qa36. Going through all mechanical aspects with new bearings, shims, and a fresh coat of paint. Might even try to wax the inside so snow can't stick to the auger and in the chute. Once complete, the next project will be to make the other 127 into a plowing machine but since I don't have a driveway anymore, it's kind of on the back burner.
Also updated the 127 this summer with a new wiring harness, battery with more CCA, and LED lights to see better throwing snow.
I must say my cubs have come a long way in the last year and I credit most of it to seeing what you gentlemen do with your cubs. Thanks, I get very excited to see what other member and using their cubs for and I do with mine.
