This is to clarify some terminology with regards to the Cub Cadet Lift System and the Sleeve Hitch.
The actual Sleeve Hitch, is the round tube. It has the following dimensions:
OD: 1.000"
ID: 0.625"
Hgt: 3.500"
The Sleeve Hitch is a Industry Standard regardless of Manufacturer.
The Sleeve Hitch is welded to a Sleeve Hitch Assembly. The Assembly will vary in configuration, from Manufacturer to Manufacturer.
You add the Sleeve Hitch Assembly to a bunch of mounting parts, and you have a Sleeve Hitch Adapter Package. Again, this will vary in configuration, from Manufacturer to Manufacturer.
Now, Cub Cadet uses the 3 PT Lift System to accomplish the lifting of rear mounted implements. Pictured is a Typical Cub Cadet 3 PT. There are slight variations on whether the lift is for a NF or WF Cub Cadet.
I hope this helps in clarifying on terminology and explanation of how the system works.
I want to thank Myron Bounds for his insight and contribution in compiling this information.
