Appearance and options are also a big factor here. If they look really rough that will make the value some less.
If they're well equipped, they can be worth a lot more. Headlights, three point hitches, sleeve hitch adapters, spring assists and hydraulic lifts make a ton of difference if you go buying these things to add on.
Before buying, I would pay close attention to the pto's, if they need work they can get spendy pretty fast. Also look for a hydraulic lift or at least a spring assist on the 122 to make lifting that snow thrower easier. If they're not there and you plan on throwing much snow, you will most likely want to get one or the other. The clutch in the 122 can also be expensive to rebuild if it needs repair.
Like the other guys, I'd try to get them as cheap as you can, not having everything mounted on the tractor and in running condition, you're buying a pig in a poke.
