Carb spacer is only important if there are clearance issues with linkage or the filter housing. Won't affect running.
Thanks Jonathan. Sometimes the little things matter and sometimes they do not. I've learned a lot working on this tractor with my son and the folks here are awesome.
I just remembered the rubber tube that connects from the flywheel cover to the air cleaner is pushed up against the air cover. This cannot be correct and I wonder if I should add the spacer for this reason. What do you think?
I could cut the rubber piece shorter or add the spacer.
