so I was looking for something to test with and found this complete Chevy inline-6. probably a little heavy for 1st test, but no worries (I was careful) I got out of my shed and moved to garage.
so the boom is extended 1/2 way out (future plan is to make it hydraulically telescope in/out)
the steering works great, very easy to turn (hauling engine) but the rear wheels "feel" light when driving. Was only able to lift/spin a rear tire when I purposely drove at an angle over a speed bump type obstacle.
I want to make it more stable, thinking about more or different heavier weights, split the brakes to cutting brakes (so I can stop a spinning tire and send power to the tire with traction)
does anyone make locking differential for these?
anyway, more testing videos to follow......
