I have a 1000 I grew up on and a 1450 that was a basket case when I found it. The QLs are great tractors once you get them dialed in.
Be sure to do the engine cradle mod. It makes a big difference. You should be able to find theair filter housing and side panels easily. There is a spring that goes in the front of the side panels that is somewhat expensive for what it is. I picked up some 1/4-20 kings for the thumb screws. Makes it easier to take the side panels off.
I made a few hitches on a friend's mill. You should be able to do it on a drill press if you are handy. This web site as sponsors that can sell you the parts you need. If you need help PM me and I can point you in the right direction.
I put a clutch in my 1000 last spring. Should be good for another 40 years. I love WF gear drives. I love my 1000 for sentimental reasons but I wish it were a 1200. The larger engine does make a difference.
Looks like you have a bracket for a spring assist from the picture of the rear end. Also looks like the spring is missing. How much of it is on the tractor?
That 1200 looks clean and with some TLC should serve you for decades to come.
