You can replace the leaking seal without splitting the pump. You also should rebuild the trunnion area as OldSkull mentioned. That said as soon as you fix one leak others will follow. If it's leaking on one side it won't be long till it leaks on the other side. Life sucks, your tractor is old and it wants new seals and gaskets.
