Not sure if there was a reason behind the numbers, I don't think the push towards hydro tractors was the cause because #2 on the list is the 169 and #5 is the 107 which was part on the same line of tractors as the 126. The 73 is also on the list and was produced at the same time as the 126 and 107, it could have more to do with slow sales during those years which would have caused IH to slow production.
