Commercial radio stinks (that's being nice), I refuse to listen at all, we have a local non-npr college station that I listen to exclusively, WNMC.org complete volunteer, it can be streamed, but they play jazz during the day, at 5

m they start with some blues / folk / real country / type of stuff most week days, Thursday night is the big country show, starts about 7pm I think, goes till 9, classic / alt country which is what we should be listening to, the new people that are trying to do it right mixed in with some classics. Sunday morning at 10:am there is a "head for the hills" show, classic old school country and rockabilly for 2 hours, great stuff.
That all being said and me blowing the horn of my favorite radio station, there are some good streaming stations that I have found on itunes radio or other when I have been forced to find something, It's out there just not easy to weed thru the commercial crap to find it.
Good luck an please share if you find something!
