I did some research (googled this site ) and found the loose tube isn't uncommon. I took a couple tips and drove a couple sockets through it to straighten out the end a bit where it was bent. I then put a little RTV on it and slid it in. Seems to have done the trick.

I also got my muffler heat shield and side panels on. Fired it back up and checked everything out. Oil doesn't leak anymore. I drove it a few feet forward and back and it seems to move fine. A little jerky, but I need to check the hydraulic fluid and change the filter. I'm guessing I'll need to go through the linkages and check things out too. I probably should have done that with the fenders off

PTO rebuild parts came in today. And the tach should come tomorrow (gotta love Prime shipping)

But I still have a few things to do around my house that I had planned for my "vacation". I'm out of town this weekend so I should probably get those done to appease the wife.

I'll likely get back into the 149 in a week or two, but I'm pretty happy with the progress thus far, and it appears this thing is gonna be ready to roll.

Thanks everyone for the help!
