J-Mech; thanks for the reply, I agree with most everything you say.
i decided to go with the EZ-GO axle because it's wider, and the cast knuckles have "ackerman angle" build it and should make steering easier. (can barely see front tire in picture, currently test fitting) Also it looks like i'll be adapt a hydraulic cylinder for steering.
Plan to mount axle a inch or two farther forward than original to help keep the rear tires on the ground.
I made a counter weight to help too. I added scrap steel to my concrete mix to make heavier, i'm guessing it's about 150 lbs. (there are 2 unseen brackets the bolt the weight to the rear diff lowest 2 bolts).
