Default Cub Cadet 102 PTO clutch issue

Hey guys,
Working on a friends 102 that he uses to cut grass with and having an issue with the pto clutch, what happened is a couple months back we swapped engines due to excessive oil burning, and the new engine had a pto on it that hadn't been used in awile and had a bad center button so I took it all apart and cleaned it up and replaced the center button and I guess I didn't make one of the screws tight enough with the double nuts so not too long ago the nuts came off and it bent the screw and a plate so I replaced that and put it all back together but the pto does not disengage meaning the mower deck blades keep turning and won't shut off, any ideas? Also inside the pto clutch there is grind marks from the bearing, maybe the pto is bad? Thanks
