One step forward, two steps back!

Got up early this morning. Weather was great, no wind, temps in the 60's but warming to 75. Hung all the parts, mixed yellow paint and suited up.

Well my inexperience with spraying and poor cleaning of the gun following priming resulted in a very crappy job. Orange peel everywhere, except for a few small parts.

My biggest problem was lack of paint being applied. While the gun worked good for a minute, it went down hill fast. After examining the poor job, I totally disassembled the paint gun and found small chunks of primer in the gun. I have no one to blame but myself.

So now I need to sand all the panels and parts to remove the orange peel in the yellow paint.

Since this was my first light coat of yellow paint will the next coats help hide some of the orange peel?
