Repowered 982
I'm hoping someone can help me with my carb issue. My 982 was repowered in the past with a Kohler M18. The carb bowl has corroded and has pinholes. I tried a gas tank repair compound but after a couple of months it is failing and has started leaking again.
I would like to replace the bowl but can't find just the bowl, and can only find used carbs on eBay for ~$100. Pricey for just the bowl that I need.
Anyone know of a patch compound that will stand up to continuous immersion in gasoline, or have a good m18 bowl they will sell?
