Gotta see if I remember all of this correctly...
The 161 & 181 both had the same bore, the stroke is where the difference is. So any 181 crank that you find will be a longer stroke than a 161 crank.
The size of the PTO end will probably vary depending on what application the crank was made for. For instance; a crank that was made for a water pump may be threaded on the end, a crank for a green tractor may be a different length and/or diameter, I don't know that all 161 or all 181 cranks were the same on the PTO end.
