Howdy folks, I have a 62-63 Original that currently has horrendous Town&Country tires on the rear in 6-12 size.

Eventually, I will get a pair of the re-makes since I really like the look but for right now, I'd just as soon go down to a local shop and get something immediately available on it.

What sizes in current tire offerings are closest to if not exact matches for 6-12?

I keep getting the "that ain't s size, boy" treatment if I mention 6-12 and don't want some goofball under or over sizing them.

I have the pretty rounded fenders and feel that one tire in particular which a fella said would be OK was going to rub.
