[Fetzfarm]

Hello all. First post. I have a 441 U-1111 deck. The center spindle had a lot of slop in it, so I took it apart expecting to find a bad bearing/spindle shaft. They seemed to be in good shape, but for some reason, there's a ton of play between the spindle housing and spindle housing cap. The spindle shaft sticks out past the housing a bit and this doesn't allow the cap to tighten against it. This space allows for the play. I feel like it might be missing some kind of spacer or seal to keep grim from getting up into the bearing/housing. I've included some pictures, one shows all the spindle parts in the order it came apart. Thanks for any help!!
