I believe Firestone was contracted out by IH to manufacture the rims, because my 123 from '67 were the same way. The reason that the color appears different is because it is different. In either 1968 or 1969, IH changed the cub cadet color scheme of it's white to more of a true, brighter white. My model 73 has the bright white also and it was made somewhere between '69 to '71. Someone has put the older rims and tires on your cub at some point in the past and done something else with the original ones. The correct color schemes are listed in the technical library of this forum for you to review. You still have original IH equipment, just from a different year and model.
