I refilled the trans, tried the relief holes and that didn't work so I had to use the dipstick tube. Seems like there should be a better way. It can be a six pack job. Still no reverse so I switched valves as Oak suggested (I'll post pictures of tractor as Oak requested) and now have reverse and no forward so I'll be looking for repair or replacement. thanx steve
