That is why I would have made a plate for the lower part of the 3 point hitch bracket that faces back and is held in place by upper and lower pins on both sides, mount the winch onto it and then run the cable through a lift pin on the back of the 3 point rocker arm with the hole turned vertical or with a modified pin to hold a pulley. No holes in the cub at all that way.

That thought had occurred but I ran into the following question:
The sleeve hitch and plate suggested would only allow the hitch to be lowered to a level position before hitting the triangular hitch mounted to the transmission.
